The debate of the Living Christmas Tree and its impact on the environment and economy.

I love the holiday season with the crisp clean air. I am anxiously awaiting to cut down our annual Christmas tree but Ontario is without snow in my community. I believe the living Christmas tree is ideal because it brings outdoors indoors. Much of our winters is spent indoors with the brief exposure on a beautiful snowy day. The real Christmas tree gives a scent that infuses the home with yesterdays of a time that cherished the moment.

Today we have remote control artificial Christmas trees that are up in less than five minutes fully decorated. What happened to the family relaxing around the Christmas tree talking about the day as they decorate the tree with homemade or store bought ornaments? I appreciate the time my boys and I spend looking for the right Christmas tree and just being in the moment as we appreciate the great outdoors just a few minutes from the city.

The Christmas tree lessons will allow your students to decide if the living Christmas tree is a tradition to continue or kick to the curb.
