Canada has the luxury of having a 4 day holiday to celebrate Easter. Many of our schools participate in the Easter holiday focusing on the religious and/or non religious traditions. Celebrate the holiday with Easter Art, Easter Poetry, and Easter Writing. Students love to celebrate holidays because most of them include special treats and gifts for the youngsters.
Include the holiday of Easter in your curriculum as you continue to reinforce new and old skills to your students. Intrigue your students with the holiday while still teaching them something new. Students love to learn when it is about something that is of interest to them. How can the Easter Bunny not interest a child since he usually leaves some candy and gifts.
