Stay away from giving chocolate, scented candles, bath oils, and holiday knick knacks for your child’s teacher. Personalize their gift or give a gift that keeps on giving for years to come.
Teacher Caricature: Scan a picture of your child’s teacher and print it in black and white. Have your child outline the face with black marker, emphasizing certain features. As well, the child will embellish the clothing. After the drawing is complete, have your child trace the picture. The child will not trace anything that was not outlined with the black marker. After, the child may watercolor the picture or leaves it as a black and white sketch.
